Woke up to the sounds of firecrackers at 5am and they continue to sound at 10pm as I write this entry. Throughout the streets, kids wished me "happy diwali". As a Christian, how does one respond to that? I guess it's very much like someone wishing a Hindu "Merry Christmas". My response: Thank you. |
