An awesome change from the hustle bustle of Pune, Ooty is a beautiful town in the mountains called the Nilgiris, a popular vacation spot for Indians due to it's temperate weather year-round (we are at 2300m above sea level!) My first impression: green everywhere; you're surrounded by tea plantations and the eucalyptus forest. One of my favorite spots in SF is the drive through the Presidio with the windows down to inhale the scent of the eucalyptus. So, you can only imagine my excitement when I found out the place where I am staying is smack dab in the middle of a eucalyptus forest! Here are some views not too far from Farley.
