Final day at Angkor DAY 3

The last day was spent checking out the highly anticipated Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom.  Admittingly, most of us were templed-out by now but there was no way we could miss seeing 2 of the largest religious buildings that put Cambodia on the global map!  And the experience would not be complete without seeing a sunrise.  Our wake-up time: 4:30am.

Angkor Thom, Bayon: We passed this grand temple many times throughout the 3 days which captivated us with its presence including 54 gothic towers decorated with 216 coldly smiling faces like the one above.
