Food and Friends

We continued our gastronomic adventure with Hue specialties (influenced by a former emperor's picky tastebuds) and more vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk.  The Vietnamese language is so difficult so we very much rely on the english descriptions and pictures when ordering.  On a few occasions, the best lunch was simply ordering the top 3-4 appetizers on the menu.

Hue was also the spot where we met up with Amy, a friend of mine and Karen's back in our Philly days!  Apparently Karen lives within an hour from Amy but the first time she has seen her in 6 years is in Vietnam.  Small world.
